United Women in Faith (UWF) – United Women in Faith is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice. Members raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world.
Our PURPOSE
The organized unit of United Women in Faith shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Opportunities to Get Involved with the PUMC UWF
- Circles: Circles are simply smaller groups that allow women to meet on a regular basis to learn about their faith, build relationships, share life’s joys and sorrows and commit to service projects. You can attend any or all 3 of our circles.
- Service Projects: Aide to a local family, school supply collection, Operation Christmas Child
- Fundraisers Supporting Local & Global Missions: Rada Knives, Bake Sales, Christmas Cookie Sale
- Fellowship Events: Ladies’ Game Night, Dinners, luncheons and celebrations
- Self Growth: Call to Prayer and Self Denial, Day Apart
We are called to serve women, children and youth and whenever there is a need within our church, we are always willing to serve.
