Mark Gannon

Mark graduated with a BA in Music from the University of Northern Colorado where he studied voice.  In college, he played in a rock/pop/folk duo called Acoustic Rock-it and then began playing solo for many years.  He and his wife Christy moved to Charlotte in 2003 and bought a home in Indian Land in 2013.  They have been here ever since and absolutely love the South!!  However, most of his favorite sports teams are from Colorado: Broncos, Avalanche, Nuggets, and Colorado Rockies (he still has season tickets with the Rockies and has since 1993).  He usually gets back to Colorado a few times a year and gets to go to some Rockies games!  Lastly, he really loves to fly fish.

Mark is so happy to be at PUMC and absolutely loves singing and playing with the CORE! His goal as the Worship leader is to create an environment, surrounded by music, that invokes a spirit of closeness with all of us, God and his son Jesus Christ.
