Philadelphia Church wants to see every person in a healthy LifeGroup. Our church is passionate about getting people in groups and getting groups healthy.
We have LifeGroups meeting online and in person to help create community in a time we all need it more than ever! These groups happen every day, every week, for everyone, and you can find the best one for you!
Whether you’re looking for a Men’s, Women’s, Couples, Youth or Kid group, there is one that is just right for you!

Weekly Life Groups
Disciples Class – Sundays at 10am in room 106.
A Bible discussion class for adults. Attendees are mostly over 60, and include single men and women as well as married couples.
Infusion Class – Sundays at 10am in room 154.
New to adult Sunday School? Afraid you don’t know “enough” of the Bible? Come grow with us!! We’re a relaxed, “come as you are” class.
Logos Class – Sundays at 10am in room 122.
A Bible study class. No familiarity with the Bible is needed. There is no lesson book, no required reading, and no verses to memorize. Attendees are typically retired, and do not have children living at home.
Seekers Class – Sundays at 10am in room 104.
This is a multi-generational including visits from our young adult college students when they are in town. They’re committed to seeking God’s will in their lives, Christian knowledge, spiritual growth and Biblical understanding.
Children’s Sunday School – Sundays at 10am in multiple classrooms.
From Nursery thru Grade 5, the PUMC Children’s Ministry is where kids can have fun, make friends, and find a place to belong. Small group leaders aim to help kids to believe in God, follow Jesus, and understand what it means to live like a Christian.
Ladies Bible Study – Fridays from 10-11am in room 106.
A group for women to gather for fellowship, fun, and Bible study. A planned study is selected, and members are welcome to participate freely in the discussions.
Monthly Life Groups
Friends in Christ (FIC) – Second Friday of the Month from 10am-11am
A group that allows women to meet on a regular basis to learn about their faith, share life’s joys and sorrows and commit to service projects. FIC prides itself on sending cards and keeping up with those who are ill.
J.R. Jones (JRJ) – Third Tuesday of the Month. Late morning or early evening depending upon the season.
A group that allows women to meet on a regular basis to learn about their faith, share life’s joys and sorrows and commit to service projects. JRJ women work with Tender Hearts to provide help, shelter and a safe environment for women in need.
Men in the Mirror – Second Saturday of the Month from 7:30am-8:30am in the Fellowship Hall.
A monthly meeting for men of all ages. They focus on spiritual answers for concerns of Christian Men. Coffee and breakfast biscuits are provided.
Ruth Adkins Circle (RAC) – Third Saturday of the Month from 6:30pm-8:30pm
A group that allows women to meet on a regular basis to learn about their faith, share life’s joys and sorrows and commit to service projects. RAC women work both inside and outside the home and most have children still in school. They host the Pancake Packing Party for Operation Christmas Child and Graduation Celebration each year.
Senior Friends – Second Tuesday of the Month from 11am-12pm in the Fellowship Hall
Senior Friends provides a positive atmosphere that is conducive to maintaining sound minds, healthy bodies, and spirit-filled souls through the gifts of good food, laughter, prayer, caring relationships and shared lives of joy and love.
Short Term Life Groups
Mere Christianity – A six-week Bible study for adults based on the book by C.S. Lewis. Wednesdays, from 6:00-7:00pm, starting January 17th. Room 154.
Prince Caspian – A six-week Bible study for kids based on the book by C.S. Lewis. Wednesdays, from 6:00-7:00pm, starting February 7th. Room 141.
