Our ROOM IN THE INN ministry serves as a housing shelter for those who find themselves without a warm, safe place to stay the night. This ministry offers a unique way for people of faith to become directly involved with individuals who are homeless by not only keeping homeless people from freezing on cold winter nights, but also providing a more personal relationship to homeless people, at least for a night, as we show them Christian love, compassion, and understanding for the complexity of their situation. To learn more about how you can participate or help in any way, e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The purpose of the United Methodist Men (UMM) is to declare the centrality of Christ in every man's life, to promote the spiritual growth of men through effective discipleship, and to model the servant leadership of Christ in our daily lives. Our Salkehatchie teams have built wheelchair ramps, replaced rotted floors, installed new roofs, painted homes, and fixed walls and plumbing in homes across the state for over 34 years. It all happens one week in a summer where young volunteers are trained and mentored by adult volunteers. Salkehatchie Summer Service camps help develop new skills while providing for the growth of a servant's heart. New teams of Philadelphia youth and adult leaders return year after year.
The 2017 Salkehatchie Summer Mission Camps schedule has been announced. CLICK HERE for more information. For more details regarding Salkehatchie, contact Linda Honeycutt at firstname.lastname@example.org

For over 4 years, the volunteers of Isaiah 58 have provided a welcome helping hand, a warm meal, and a smiling face as an example of God's love. The 2nd Saturday of each month a group of volunteers from our church gather - some to cook, some to bring meals they have prepared at home, and some even come just to help deliver the meals that others have made ready. Before the work is done, this group of church volunteers will have provided a nourishing lunch to well over a hundred residents in the Paradise community in Fort Mill. More hands and hearts could help us reach out to more people. To assist with this ministry, contact Kelley Candee
Senior Friends is a special fellowship group specifically for the more mature members of our family of faith. This fellowship group meets the second Tuesday of every month for luncheons and special seasonal celebration events. All church seniors (55 and older) are invited to attend.

From its founding over almost 200 years ago, Christ-centered and liturgical worship has been a constant in the life of Philadelphia United Methodist Church. One of the many key elements of worship at Philadelphia has been its steadfast commitment to the care, nurturing, and creative use of the worship arts. From a traditional Chancel Choir to handbells, a contemporary christian pop band to numerous children's and youth choirs, dramatic arts to an audio/visual ministry -- we have something for everyone interested in the Worship Arts.

Our church attracted over 250 kids for our summer 2016 Vacation Bible School (VBS). With both a morning and an evening session, you can imagine how many volunteers are needed to handle this wonderful ministry. It's a big undertaking, and more volunteers are always needed. One week of time for the VBS crew, but lots of great memories and Christian education for the kids. For more information, contact Brooke Presley at (803)548-0102.
