EVANGELISM & MISSIONS – MARCH UPDATE

Emergency Response Team (ERT) United Methodists are dedicated to showing the love of Jesus to others in the aftermath of a disaster. Individuals must be trained in order to go to disaster areas. We encourage people to attend so when disasters happen, PUMC will be ready to help. Training is Saturday, March 24, 9am-5pm. Must be 18. Initial training $35, renewal $10. Contact Glenda Warren, 817-907-8289 or glendaw@comporium.net.

Flood Buckets Bring your completed Flood Bucket to church Easter Sunday. These buckets are filled with emergency cleanup supplies and are distributed to those in need in time of flood. There are more than 65 buckets being assembled by our congregation. You can still participate. Contact Glenda Warren (above).

Salkahatchie Summer Service Missions. “I heard the voice of the Lord saying, whom shall I send, and who will go for us? And I said; Send me. I will!” For over 30 years PUMC has supported Salkehatchie Summer Service to fix homes in disrepair. Salkehatchie is often thought of as a youth mission with adult leadership, however, there are meaningful opportunities to participate, even if our youth are not part of your group. Please pray about saying “I Will” and attend one of the over 40 camps this year. Thanks for your financial support as well, we go in HIS name and for you!
