Children's Choirs

Giving children the opportunity to explore their God given gifts and talents among friends and through fun and spiritually uplifting music.

Your kids will have a blast learning spiritually uplifting songs, being creative, acting in musicals and hanging out with kids their own age. Our 3 age level Children’s Choirs are also an excellent opportunity for kids from preschool through 5th grade to unlock and nurture their musical gifts. The choirs will present a Christmas program and a Spring Program each year and will sing in both our 9:45 Contemporary Service and the 11:00am Traditional Service at various times throughout the year.

Our Age Level Choirs Are:

  • Little Lights Choir for Preschoolers led by Mrs. Charlotte Kost
  • Joy Praize Choir for K – 2nd graders led by Mrs. Rebecca Pollock and Mr. Phil Brigman
  • Joyful Noize Choir for 3rd-5th graders led by Mr. Jim Lowder

All of the Children’s Choirs Meet on Wednesdays 5:00pm to 6:oopm, September – May.

Children’s Choir Ministry Mission & Vision Statement

The vision of the Children’s Music Ministry is to partner with parents, leaders, and volunteers to unlock and nurture every child’s musical gifts. To accomplish this, we will incorporate the following priorities into each children’s choir:

That children would come to know and have a personal relationship with Christ through the understanding of scripture and biblically based music

That their creative spirits would be cultivated through a safe and loving environment

That each child would feel loved, appreciated, and encouraged in the community of each choir, thus building self-confidence music

That they will have opportunities to share what they have learned through Sunday morning worship, seasonal musicals, and community outreach programs

That each child would get to explore the gifts and talents that God has given them, and in doing so discover who God has called them to be through service

That each child, no matter how God has gifted them, would be nurtured through the use of verbal, auditory, and kinesthetic music learning opportunities each week to reach the fullest potential of God’s call upon their lives

We want to make children’s choir fun, spiritually uplifting, and helpful in building positive, confident children for Christ!
